Well, here it is...our very first post on our blog, vinovistas.com! Here goes nothing - cheers!
So, who are we and what are we doing here? We are Liz and Mike - professional musicians by day and lovers of all things wine by night. We have had a ton of fun exploring the world of wine together over the last decade and we would like to share some of our experiences with you. It's not just about what we are drinking - it's also about where the wine came from, it's about who made the wine, it's about the little trattoria where we enjoyed the wine, it's about the views of the vineyard, its about how we hacked some credit cards to get to the vineyard on the cheap, it's about where we buy our wine online and in person, it's about the food we are enjoying with the wine, and it's about our friends who we are enjoying the wine with....we can go on, but you get the idea. We aren't here as experts in any one
of these areas - we will leave that to the sommeliers and the vignerons out there. What we do hope to present here is some ideas that might help you create your own lasting memories through the glass. We certainly have! Salute!
